Durley Church is beleived to be 700 years old, and is a Grade 2 listed building. It has an open timbered roof, made of Spanish chestnut, and Victorian stained glass windows. Oliver Cromwell's sister Bridget was said to have stayed at Durley Manor, and Oliver himself went to this church and tethered his horse to the yew tree outside.
