Tigers are threatened in the wild by poachers and destruction of their natural habitat. Marwell Zoo's commitment to preserving and rearing of these Amur Tigers is going a long way to ensuring that these animals will be around for further generations to see. There are just 250-400 individuals remaining in the wild.
